Food & Farming

Students will learn all about farming and food production from planting seeds to harvesting and bread making through the story of the Little Red Hen, tour of the Barn and hands on activities in the barn.

Childhood Then & Now

Students will learn about toys and games in the past through a object handling session. They will compare toys from the past to modern day toys, have a go at some games from the past, and make their own scientific toy.

Victorian Garden

Students will learn all about the significance of a Victorian garden, growing plants and food, and the basic structure of flowering plants through hands on activities and a Victorian experience of the School room.

Victorian Homes

Students will learn all about Victorian homes and way of life and compare them to life in modern day through a tour of the parlour, cottage, kitchen and laundry and the Victorian garden, privy as well as hands on activities.

Milton Keynes Through the Ages

Students will learn all about Milton Keynes through the stone ages to the modern times through object handling, tour of the galleries and hands on activities.

Make a Booking

Use our online booking form to take your students on a journey through the history of Milton Keynes at the museum.
