Loan Box Scheme
The Scheme includes an extensive collection of individual items and boxes of artefacts tied to a specific theme.

All items are subject to availability. We have duplicates of many items but only one of most individual items and replica artefacts.

Loan Service Subscription
The Loans Box Service at Milton Keynes Museum is based on an annual subscription scheme. The annual charge for the scheme is as follows:
- Schools in the Milton Keynes Authority Area: £20
- All other schools and eligbile groups: £30

Items are loaned for a half term period
Schools are requested to return the loaned items to the museum during the last two weeks of the period in which they are borrowed.
Fill out an application using the form below.
Please give us at least two weeks’ notice where possible. Once we receive the form, we will reserve the items for you and will let you know when the items are ready for collection.

Schools must be collect the loaned items from the Museum. The Museum is open for loan collection and return from 9.30 am until 4.15 pm on weekdays only. Teachers can also arrange collection and return by ringing the main office on: 01908 316222.
Schools are responsible for the items they borrow and may be asked to pay for repairs or replacement.
