Welcome to Milton Keynes Museum
We are THE Museum dedicated to the history of Milton Keynes and the people who live here. We tell the story of MK before the city was planned and developed through interactive and hands-on exhibits.
Go back in time and walk down a Victorian street of shops, then meet modern Milton Keynes’ famous icons – the concrete cows.
There’s something to excite everyone at Milton Keynes Museum. Set in beautiful farmland outside of Wolverton, unlike a lot of other museum’s we also have outdoor activities and space including a small play area.
And no visit is complete without stopping for a cake in our celebrated tea room.
We have exciting plans to tell the whole story of the city from its ancient past to exploring how and why it was built in the 1970s – stay tuned!
